Queensland's Longest Established Organisation for the Non-Religious

Humanists in Queensland

The Humanist Society of Queensland advocates for the rights of non-religious people and works to combat the influence of religion on government. We want to ensure that human rights are upheld over religious rights. We fight the privileges religious groups demand and are sometimes granted. Our vision is of a world in which all individuals are treated fairly regardless of ethnicity, sex or system of belief. We campaign for an open and secular society and are willing to work with others of different beliefs for the common good.

We are affiliated with The Council of Australian Humanists Societies and The International Humanist and Ethical Union
