TOWNSVILLE - James Cook University: The James Cook University Society of Atheist Philosophy (SOAP) is an affiliated member of the Freethought University Alliance. Our Townsville based club is seeking like minded individuals to provide a judgment free opportunity to discuss their views on society, science, nature, philosophy and religion using rational thinking. We hold weekly meetings which feature a range of presenters and also hold many social events.
Running and promoting a student organisation takes time, effort and money. HSQ is proud of the work being done by time poor students. We encourage you to support student orgnanisations as they play a useful role in ensuring the future of Humanism. Please donate whatever you can. All contributions will be most appreciated.
